“I'm extremely excited to keep our commitment to our veterans going as we move forward into 2025 and continue to grow our support in Turns For Troops,” said Rahal. “I think “Riding with Rahal” is a great initiative for the month of May and Memorial Day weekend. I'm very excited to see all the names that we get on the United Rentals car. I believe we can do a lot together to help our veterans - and many here in this country need our support. I'm very proud of what United Rentals is doing and everything that we at the Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation have done to continue to give back to our nation’s heroes. I think “Riding With Rahal” is a great initiative to keep it growing.”

Featured on the Number 15 United Rentals “Riding With Rahal” car is Linda Jane “Grammy” Wild, who passed away on May 25, 2024. This year’s Indianapolis 500 marks one year since her passing — and her memory is being honored where her granddaughter’s dreams take flight.
Grammy followed the IndyCar Series with her motorsport-loving granddaughter, Gwen. It was during those times together that Grammy became a devoted fan of Graham Rahal — her favorite driver. More than anything, she believed in Gwen’s dream of working in racing and always encouraged her to pursue it, no matter the obstacles.
Now, a year after Grammy’s passing, Gwen is honoring that encouragement in the best way possible: by interning at Graham Rahal Performance, chasing the dream Grammy always believed in — and carrying her endless love every step of the way.
In partnership with United Rentals and their Turns For Troops initiative and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL), the Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation (GCRF) is thrilled to share that not only did we reach our fundraising goal of $50,000, but we surpassed it, raising a total of $69,284.35!
Since 2016, United Rentals has committed to donating $50 per lap that Rahal completes in NTT INDYCAR SERIES competition through their Turns For Troops program. To date, the effort has raised nearly $1 million from laps completed, and almost $2.5 million has been donated in total, with the addition of money raised from the annual GCRF Drivers Tournament and Vino For Vets fundraisers.
Turns For Troops has primarily been funded by United Rentals and GCRF to help support the lives of America’s heroes. “Riding with Rahal” allows fans to participate in the largest single-day sporting event in the world, all while making a difference in the lives of our nation’s veterans.
